Mini Montessori Solar System Bundle

This bundle includes:

1. Planet Crowns (M): Color and cut planets. Offer strips of

construction paper. Children glue planets on in order, staple the

crown shut and have some wearable art!

2. Solar System Orbit (M): Use this as a cut and paste activity or

laminate/apply velcro and have children place planets on appropriate

Orbit.

3. Planet Missing Sounds (M): Dictate to student the name of each

planet. Have them find the missing sounds and write them in. I like

laminating and using a dry erase marker. Magic erasers clean them

up!

4. Planet Syllables (M): Place clapping hands (1, 2, 3) at the top of your

work. Show the picture and recite word to student. Have child clap

out the syllables and place them under the correct amount.

5. Planet Scavenger Hunt (M): Hang large cards around your

environment. Offer student sheet with clipboard and pencil. Have

children find the cards around the room and copy the answer.

6. Mr. Moon Poem Booklets (M): Have the master available for

reference. I like to practice poems every day at circle! Children can

illustrate this book themselves. To make booklets, cut covers out of

construction paper at 4.25”x11”. Fold printed poem in half the short

way, then in half again the opposite way to make a booklet. The first

page is “Mr. Moon, Mr. Moon.” Use a booklet stapler to add the cover.

Note: Please use these materials in your classrooms and homes but send
