Resource Guide

  • Work Plan

    • There are two versions of Work Plans. The one on the left hand side is more suitable for Preschool aged children, while the one on the right is geared more towards Kindergarteners. Choose whichever suits your child. 

  • Plant Life Cycle

    • Includes Master and Student Sheet. 

      • Child should cut and glue pictures according to Master. They can then write words from the cycle onto the lines. 

  • Flower Word Search

    • List of flower related words to search for!

  • Find and Count

    • Can you find two small items to put into each spot? Encouraging counting by 2’s. Use this paper as a template for placing actual objects on. 

  • Skip Counting and Tracing

    • Number tracing activity. For older children, a pencil will be suitable, for younger children - try a fat pencil or a fat marker. 

  • 5 (short and long) Chains

    • Child can cut pieces out - arrange 5 for the short chain, place 1 square at the end. Lay labels out and have child label the last bead in every segment with a corresponding ticket. 

    • For long chain, use all the 5 bars, place a square every 5th segment ending with both a square and a cube, label. 

  • Flower Tracing

    • Master Guides included for reference

    • Child can either color in blank copies 

      • Or

    • Place tracing paper over, trace with sharpie, color or paint (this is our favorite way to use this!)

  • Read/Draw/Write

    • Child can read phonetically controlled sentence

    • They should illustrate the underlined word

    • The blank sheet is for them to try their own sentence and illustrations. 

  • Flower Scavenger Hunt

    • Hide large pictures and labels around your environment. Give child a student sheet, clipboard and pencil. They can find the hidden labels and write the words down!
