Beginner Mini Reading Bundle
Set of 3 Interactive Easy Readers: The Cat, The Pig and The Hen.
Print o color & text copies on cardstock, laminate and cut. Create a book by binding the pages with a spiral binding or 1⁄2” metal book rings.
OR: Print o pages that have the bubbles and text as well as the page of illustrations only. Laminate, cut pages and cut illustrations close to the edge. Using velcro dots, apply inside the bubbles and to the back of the illustrations. Child then lays out the pages in order, reads the text and finds the illustration to match.
OR: print o the pages in example b (on normal computer paper) and staple into a packet. Child does all the cutting, glueing and then staples their creation into a book - a great way for them to bring home their reading work to share with their family!
Set of 3 Sequence Stories: The Cat, Dog and Pup and The Rat.
Print o full color and text page on cardstock, laminate and cut. Present to the child scrambled. Either the adult reads to the child and the child sequences them in an order that makes the most sense, or if the child is reading, they do the reading and then sequence them.
OR: print o the black line master, child colors, cuts, sequences and staples into a booklet.
OR: print o color version where illustrations and text are separated (cut on the grey lines),
laminate and provide scrambled in a basket. Child lays out the illustrations and then reads
each line of text. They match the text to the illustration and then sequence everything.
OR: print o black line master of the page where the illustration and the text can be
separated. Child colors, cuts, reads and glues text into correct illustration. Sequence and
staple into a book.
Phonetic Command Cards Set IV (other three sets are available separately in my shop under
Language):
